Players are art students, learning to mix their pigments on the palette to get the right color for their canvases. The cards are the paint colors, and the palette is the table.

Before each hand, players first "vote" for the colors they will try to make. Each round begins with a player placing a paint card to the “palette”. Each player must follow suit—unless they decide to mix 2 primary colors to change the suit to a secondary color! At the end of a hand, tricks with the chosen colors bring players victory points, while tricks with the other colors bring penalties. The best color mixer with the most points at the end of the game wins.
